Taking another approach to semi-custom, Hanse offers four layout options for each of the three compart ments (aft cabin, main saloon and forward cabin) and multiple draft options on its two new models, the Hanse 461 and the Hanse 400e. All interiors have a choice between a rich mahogany and a light cherry finish on the stylish and spacious European-style interiors.

On deck, the main cockpit is separated from the dual helming stations aft that share a multipurpose screen mounted on the aft end of the cockpit table. Lines are kept tidy and out of the way by a series of Harken fairleads that channel them through a covered recess on deck to line clutches and two shared winches in the cockpit. At 26,300 pounds, the 461 is relatively light with a D/L of 167 and a SA/D of 20.9, promising plenty of fun in a range of conditions.
