Hunter Marine shows their commitment to the realm of distance-capable cruisers with their new Hunter 45cc. Designed by Warren Luhrs, the 42-foot, two-inch sloop has a beam of 14 feet, six inches for added form stability and ample room below. The backstayless B&R rig and traveler arch keep the deck clean and simple. Most of the 45cc’s 22,936 pounds are in the accommodations, including the spacious master stateroom. The numbers peg her as a light-displacement cruiser with a D/L of 169 and an SA/D of 16.5. With accommodations for seven, she will provide a comfortable cruise for those looking to enjoy amenity-filled cruising.
