He now writes the excellent cruising blog Sailing Yachtzee.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>by Andy Cross<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Walking up to our beached dinghy just after dark I quickly noticed something was missing \u2014 our outboard engine. \u201cSON OF A BITCH, someone stole our engine and gas tank!!\u201d I yelled to Jill and our buddy Robbie who were a bit behind me.<\/p>\n<p>Standing around the rubber boat \u2014 our family\u2019s main mode of transportation \u2014 we were in shock, as we\u2019d only been gone for 90 minutes. Rain fell and the wind seemed to provide a stiff slap in the face while we decided what to do next.
