In 2011, Laura Dekker became the youngest person to sail alone around the world. She did so without drama or fanfare and with a very high degree of seamanship. She now lives in New Zealand and has recently published a book about her adventure, One Girl One Dream. Laura is truly an inspiration for any sailor who hankers to see the world and test themselves and their skills against the seven seas.
