With Your Help, The BVI People Can Get On Their Feet Again!

By George Day · On September 20, 2017

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of the Virgin Islands as they recover from the devastating blow of Hurricane Irma. We know the resilience of our friends in the Caribbean and have seen them reconstruct their beautiful islands after the tropical devastations in the past. Since the images of the havoc caused by Hurricane Irma have emerged, people from around the world have asked ….

What Can We Do To Help!

In response, the Salty Dawg Sailing Association, a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization, has established the tax-deductible Salty Dawg BVI Relief Fund to directly help the people. We encourage you to contribute. Our volunteers are working with local BVI Rotary and similar groups to channel 100% of your contributions to those suffering most. Rotary operates a very strong network in these islands and is focused on the grass roots needs of the people. The Contributions will be distributed to local groups in cash or with needed emergency material and supplies to help the people. Neither SDSA nor local Rotary groups apply any administrative fees to distribution of these funds. Read more.
