(riverkeeper) – Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York recently announced the “Revive Mother Nature” Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to improve water quality, enhance marine life and promote coastal resilience. Cuomo released thousands of shellfish into the Hudson River Park in NYC during the announcement. Restoring the state’s aquatic habitats will help New York communities increase their resilience to climate change and severe weather events. Read More
