(New York Times) – With the major downsizing of the cruise ship industry, companies are sending some of their ships to be dismantled to Aliaga, Turkey. Aliaga is a port in western Turkey known for tourism, oil refineries and shipbreaking. Previously the area focused on cargo ships, now there are five cruise ships waiting their turn to have their interiors stripped and to be dismantled. Read More
