(Coastland Times) – December 5, 2020, at 9:30 am the Coast Guard received an alert that a vessel was in distress from rough weather and inoperable sails and engine about 300 miles off the coast of North Carolina. The Coast Guard advised ships in the area and the 958-foot bulk carrier, KSL Santiago was diverted to assist in the rescue. The carrier successfully brought the two sailors onboard and as of this writing, were in transit to Baltimore. Read More and Watch Video
