The Increasing Size of Container Ships

(NPR) – A couple of weeks ago a container ship got stuck in the Suez Canal and the concern is that this may happen more often in the future as there are over 100 ships of similar size sailing now with larger ones currently being built. These ships carry more containers than ever making them difficult to manuever in heavy seas increasing the possibility of container loss. Read More
