I was recently catching up on reading and noted in your fall 2022 edition (Blue Water Sailing) a brief article on the “green flash”. I’ve traveled extensively over the years and sailed a bit along the way. Personally, I always thought that talk of this “green flash” was all nonsense.
Then in the spring of 2012, after sailing down from St. Lucia with some friends and while anchored off Canouan, St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the night I snapped the image that is attached. No filters, no photoshop, no alterations…just the “green flash” that appeared as the sun left the stage. Zoom in and you will see!
