Do you have dinghy davits on your boat?
Many thanks to all readers who took t he tijmew to fill out last week’s survey on wind-vane self-steering. Of those who replied 27% have one on their boats. The most popular brans in order are 1, Hydrovane, 2. Minitor and 3. Cape Horn. These wind vanes were rated at 4.5 stars out of 5 for how well they steered the boat. Of those who do not have a vane aboard, 31% say they are planning to add one inthe future.
