What sailor was the first to sail solo around the world?

Send your answers to george@bwsailing.com. A winner will be selected randomly from the correct answers.

Many thanks to all readers who sent in answers to last week’s question on Lin and Larry Pardey’s first boat. The winner this week is John Dietenhofer, Hijira Boatworks in Hingham, Massachusetts who emailed: “Seraffyn is the boat’s name.  The current photo below is a couple of years old, but I’ve been helping with the haul and launch for many years. I’ve been doing varnish work and small projects on the boat for a few years.”
