Many thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on winter cruising plans. Of those who replied, 53% said they were either going to the sun or were already there. For those making a migration, the most popular destinations are the Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida and Mexico/Central America. Readers in the Southern Hemisphere noted that “summer is just arriving” and those in Europe said they were headed to the Canary Islands, Cape Verdes and on to the Caribbean. One snow bird said they’s be sailing south from Alaska to Washington state “because its warm3er there.”
