Do you cruise as a couple without crew even for offshore passages?
Many thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to last week’s survey on whisker poles. Of those who replied, 68% do have a whicker or spinnaker pole. Of those who do not have a pole, 32% say they plan to add one. 54% stow their pole on a mast track, 28% stow their poles on deck mounts and 18% on life line mounts. Asked to recommend a brand of pole, 100% of readers said Forespar while a few commented “Buy a multihulls.”
