Have you ever hard to get a certificate to qualify for bareboat charters in Europe or elsewhere?
Many thanks to everyone who sent in answers to last week’s survey on fire extinguishers. Of those who replied, 28% have 2 aboard, 25% have 3, 18% have 4, 17% have 5 and 12% have 6. 68% have added fire suppession or mitigation equipment. 68% have a fire blanket for the stove, 72% have added fire extinguishers as noted, and 23% have added automatic fire suppression systems to their engine room.
