Nicholas was attempting to fix a fault in the hydraulic steering when the accident happened around 1200 GMT on Saturday, November 22<b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The crew immediately activated their EPIRB as well as the SOS button on the Delorme InReach tracking device carried by Atlantic Odyssey yachts.
