Problem is that unless I am on shore power or running the motor then the hot water only lasts for a maximum of two days with no use and only one day if guests come and want showers. Guess who gets the cold one at the end?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"para para_body_copy_-_no_indent\"><span class=\"char char_$ID\/[No_character_style]\">I have done a lot of work to get us power independent, with solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and a wind generator, but the idea of starting engines to have a warm shower seems very wasteful.
