The man&#8217;s identity hasn&#8217;t been released, but Petty Officer Lauren Steenson in Kodiak said the sailboat was named <em>La Chimere<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The man activated a location beacon Tuesday about 400 miles south of Cold Bay, Alaska.
