Hanson Rescue Medal to a sailboat\u2019s crew for their rescue of a swimmer injured by an attacking sea lion in San Francisco Bay. The rescuing sailors aboard\u00a0<em>Grey Goose<\/em>\u00a0conducted the rescue near Fisherman\u2019s Wharf in San Francisco. They will be honored with the Hanson Rescue Medal, presented by Richard Jepsen, a member of US Sailing\u2019s Board of Directors, at the\u00a0<u>Pacific Sail and Power Boat Show<\/u>\u00a0in Richmond, Calif. on April 21, 2018 at 5:30pm. The presentation will take place at the Craneway Pavilion opposite the main entrance. The public is invited to attend the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>On the afternoon of December 14, 2017 with the air temperature at 60 degrees, water temperature at 50 degrees, wind speed at 10 knots, and foot-high waves, a 56-year-old man named Christian Einfeldt, was swimming less than half a mile from the beach at Aquatic Park Cove.
