Of the 24% who do not, 80 say they do not plan to add shore power. Regarding the amp service aboard, 78% have 30-amp service, 13% have 50-amp service and 9% have both. The popular reasons for having shore power in order are: 1. charging batteries, 2. 110-volt service for onboard appliances, 3. heating, 4. air conditioning, 5. dehumidifier and 6. hair drier.
