Previously, career &amp; work had to halt as we ventured off on hiatus. This time around two things are different: no kids (we are empty nest), and we continue\u00a0to work uninterrupted. Starlink has allowed us to cruise today instead of waiting till retirement in 5-10 years. It also\u00a0adds safety by allowing unlimited access to weather updates. We have the RV plan = about $700 for the Starlink hardware plus the $135\/mo. That&#8217;s it. &#8220;Musk&#8221; as we refer to the gear, sits flat, face up, while sitting in a fishing rod holder off our stern. We see consistent speeds of 100 MB down, 30 up. On sketchy days, it&#8217;s 35 MB down and 10 up. We are anchored in St Georges, Bermuda right now, working &amp; cruising.
