Many thanks to all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s long survey on electric winches on our boats. Of the many readers who replied,\u00a0 42% have electric winches. The most common types of electric winches are\u00a0 cockpit sheet winches, anchor windlasses and halyard winches.\u00a0 94% of these are electric with 6% being hydraulic.
