Well, it turns out they are not alone.<\/p>\n<p>Late last week, the French shipping company TOWT\u2019s first modern sailing cargo ship set sail from Le Harve, France on its maiden voyage to New York loaded with 1,000 tonnes of cargo. \u00a0The company reports that the <em>Anemos<\/em>, which is the Greek word for wind, is making good time in favorable conditions.<\/p>\n<p><em>Anemos<\/em> is the first of eight sisterships that will be built for TOWT as they embrace the trend to reduce and ultimately eliminate their ships\u2019 carbon emissions.
