Resolutely focused on performance, these two new models replace the former Sport version of the Windelo 50 and 54. While preserving the brand&#8217;s DNA &#8211; environmentally-friendly catamarans in both construction and use &#8211; the Windelo 51 Sport and 55 Sport combine technical features and lightness, for enhanced performance under sail and a racy character. Designed by architects Christophe Barreau and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Neuman, the Windelo 51 Sport and 55 Sport are the result of an ambitious technical development with a requirement for at least 10% higher performance, achieved notably through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a controlled weight thanks to the use of light material and the introduction of carbon,<\/li>\n<li>a carbon \u201coversized\u201d rig as standard, \u2022 a sport-oriented sail set with increased sail area,<\/li>\n<li>sharpened bows and rudders,<\/li>\n<li>along with an extended waterline.
