His wife Lynette Hooker, who went missing at around 7:30 pm on April 4 from their dinghy as they motored back to their boat Soulmate after an afternoon of drinking by the pool at the Abaco Inn, Hope Town, The Bahamas is still missing.<\/p>\n<p>The US Coast Guard Investigation Services has kept the case into Lynette Hooker\u2019s disappearance open and has asked for any information from anyone who may have seen the Hookers leave Hope Town or seen Brian Hooker the next day. There is also a crew on a boat that was anchored next to Soulmate at the time that the Coast Guard would like to interview.,<\/p>\n<p>In an escalation of the investigation, the GCIS seized the Hooker\u2019s yacht last weekend in the Gulf Stream as it was being sailed by a delivery crew from the Bahamas to the U.S. The boat was taken to the Coast Gard base in Ft. Pierce, Florida where it is impounded and secured with crime scene yellow tape.<\/p>\n<p>After reporting his wife\u2019s disappearance to Bahamian authorities and a day-long and unsuccessful search for Lynette\u2019s \u00a0body, Brian Hooker was on his boat for two days before being taken into custody for interrogation by Bahamian police. He was held for five days before being released without a charge.
