Most readers say they run at 2000 to 2500 RPMs at normal speeds and burn between .7 and 1.5 gallons per hour. At economical speeds, the average RPM is 1500 and the fuel use falls to 0.5 to 0.8 GPH. For maximum range with full tanks, about a tnird can go between 25o and 400 miles, another third from 400 to 600 miles and the rest over 600 miles.
