(abc.net.au) – Lisa Blair from Sydney, Australia has a new world record. She now can claim the record for the fastest unassisted circumnavigation of Antarctica. She was 10 days faster than the previous record holder Fedor Konyukhov who completed the voyage in 2008. Blair had first attempted the record in 2017 but abandoned the sail when her mast snapped in heavy seas.
