Little Harbour (locally known as the Hurricane Hole), one of Abaco’s few well protected natural anchorages and mooring fields, is the 
proposed site for the nearby Abaco Club of Winding Bay’s 44-slip “Members Only” marina. Many cruisers beginning or ending their Bahamian cruising experience have made Little Harbour a “must stop.”
Located at the southern end of the Sea of Abaco, Little Harbour provides an important protected place to wait for the next weather window and possibly enjoy the local flavor of Pete’s Pub and Gallery. The proposed marina pier will extend out into the center of the harbour from the house at the west end of the harbour beach. To accommodate the structure, moorings will have to be moved or eliminated and the area available for anchoring will be significantly reduced.
