Sailboat Receives Medical Airdrop in the Pacific Ocean

An HC-130H aircraft from USCG Air Station Barbers Point near Honolulu, Hawaii successfully dropped medicine and medical supplies to the crew of the sailboat Riva. The vessel was halfway between California and Hawaii when one of the crew members had a medical emergency, and the HC-130H traveled over 1,200 nautical miles to make the aerial delivery. Watch Here
