The 2018 BVI spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is proud of the continued sponsorship from The Moorings Charter Company, as was announced at their re-opening of the British Virgin Islands base.
In the wake of the autumn hurricanes that devastated the islands and took some of The Moorings fleet along with it, the crews have been working tirelessly to rebuild the fleet. Large shipping vessels are in the BVI bringing in new boats and repairing others.
The fleet is looking strong for the 2018 charter season”, quoted Josie Tucci, VP Sales and Marketing for The Moorings and Sunsail. “We are starting the season with over 120 boats in service, and have another 130 new boats arriving in the coming months”.
