(Food & Wine) – The Coronavirus has caused all sorts of disruptions including the lack of oyster shells collected from restaurants. People around the country are now being asked to collect spent shells for recycling in order to help oyster restoration programs in the Chesapeake Bay. It turns out that for oysters to grow they need a solid object to adhere to and the best object is spent oyster shells. With restaruants shut down there is a shortage of these shells. Read More
