Three sailors onboard the Promise 3, a 48-foot sailboat were attacked by three killer whales off Cape Finisterre, Spain last week. The attack lasted about 45 minutes with the whales biting off the end of their rudder. Its believed that two juveniles initiated the encounter and they were then joined by a much larger whale.
