A Museum Made From Plastic Highlights Ocean Crisis

(albawaba.com) – Plastic waste in the ocean is a “slow-motion catastrophe” according to the  UN and Indonesia is the second-largest contributor to the problem after China. To help bring awareness to the issue the Indonesian government and environmentalists have created a museum made from plastic bottles recovered from the ocean. The museum in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia took three months to build with bottles colllected over three years. They are hoping this creative way of viewing the plastic will encourage people to be proactive in cleaning up the oceans. Read More
