Plans are well underway for the Salty Dawg Sailing Association’s 2025 Caribbean Rally. This year will mark the 15th consecutive year of sailing in company to the Caribbean.
SDSA president Mike Benjamin announced, “Vessels can choose to depart from either Hampton, Virginia, with an anticipated departure date of November 1, 2025 (weather permitting), bound for either Marsh Harbor in the Bahamas or Antigua or from Newport, Rhode Island, bound for Antigua, with an anticipated departure date in late October. Vessels destined for Antigua will also have the option of stopping briefly in Bermuda.”
The passage to Antigua should take about 12 days while the passage to the Bahamas should take about 5 days.
On June 24th the SDSA will present a free Zoom webinar on the Caribbean Rally presented by Salty Dawg members who have made this passage multiple times. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions. To learn more about the rally and to register for the webinar click here. https://www.saltydawgsailing.org/caribbean-rally
