(CNET) – Elon Musk’s company, SpaceX has announced a new program called Starlink Maritime. Essentially its the Starlink satellite internet service geared towards boats. Starlink first offered service for homes and earlier this year offered internet to the RV market. Currently the boating market covers the U.S. coast, Mexico, Europe and parts of South America, Australia and the South Pacific. They expect to expand more this year and cover all the seas by early 2023.The current cost for the hardware is $10,000 with a monthly charge of $5,000 per month. Read More
