Of readers who replied, 43% do carry a sea anchor. 34% have a parachute style, 32% carry a Gale Rider type, 26% have a Jordan-style series drogue and 8% carry heavy warps for streaming. Of those who not have a drogue aboard, 78% said they would consider adding one before making an offshore passage.
