rte.ie) – A 50-foot yacht got into trouble in stormy seas off the coast of the Republic of Ireland. Two sailors were rescued when their boat washed ashore on Achill Island and lay there undetected for three days. One of the sailors scaled a cliff to raise the alarm and they were rescued by the Achill Island Coast Guard along wtih the Gardai and RNLI. Read more.
