Of those who have not, 88% use onboard software and third party weather providers to forecast weather and route themselves. Asked to recommend a weather router, the top choice for the Atlantic, Bahamas and Caribbean was Chris Parker. For worldwide cruising, the top choice was Commanders Weather. Asked to recommend onboard software and third party subscription providers, the top choices by far were PredictWind followed by Ocens Weathernet. Many readers said they use Windy and Passageweather apps and websites when they have wi-fi connections to the internet.
