Cruising Compass
Question of the Week 0

Survey of the Week

By George Day · On August 28, 2023

Before reading on, please take a moment to fill out our weekly survey so we can share your thoughts and experiences with the Cruising Compass family. Thanks.

Do  you use Google Earth images of the coastlines where you cruise for navigation?

Many thanks to all readers who took the time to answer last week’s survey on sea cocks. A surprising number of us have had to replace them. Of those who answered,  64% have replaced their seacocks. Of those, 78% chose to use bronze ball cocks, 13% chose Marelon ball cocks and 9% chose bronze gate valves.
