Do you follow any of the old rituals and perhaps superstitions when setting off on passage?
Many thanks to all who took the time to answer last week’s survey on rigging replacement. 68% say they replace their standing rigging when inspections show that it is necessary. 18% say after 20,000 miles or so. 11% say when the insurance company requires it. And, 3% say never.
