(cnbc com) – In 2008 software engineer Brian Trautman sold all his possessions and embarked on a two-year sabbatical aboard SV Delos, a 53-foot sailboat. In 2011 he met his now wife, Karin and they started documenting their adventures, launching their own YouTube channel, Sailing SV Delos. The money earned from the channel and crowdfunding sustain their lifestyle which now includes their young daughter. Still cruising they are anticipating staying in French Polynesia for the next year.
