Do you use a folding or feathering propeller on your cruising boat and, if not, are you interested in adding one to gain sailing performance?

Thanks to all readers who took the time to reply to last week’s survey on going aloft in our boat’s rigs. Of the many readers who answered, 83% say they do go aloft to inspect their rigs, while 11% hire a rigger to do the job and 6% do neither. For those who do go aloft, 54% use a traditional bosuns chair, 18% use a mountaineering harness, 16% use an ATN MastClimber and 12% use mast steps.
