Many thank for all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on boat buying plans. Of all those who replied, 23% say they are in the market for a new or brokerage boat in the next five years. Of those in the market, 18% say they will buy a new boat while 83% say they will be looking brokerage boats. For boat type, 72% will go with a monohull, 22% with a catamaran and 6% will be looking at trimarans. For boat sizes, 28% say from 41 to 45 feet, 26% say 46 to 50 feet, 22% say 36 to 40 feet, 18% say 31 to 35 feet and 6% say over 60 feet.
