Most readers use sunscreen with an SPF of 50 with SPF 30 coming in second place. The most popular brands are Neutrogena, Banana Boat, Blue Lizard and Coppertone. The most popular brands of UV protective clothing in order are: Columbia, Helly Hanson, REI and Patagonia.
