This spring, are you in the market for a new boat?
Thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on high-capacity bilge pumps. Of those who replied, 36% have installed a high-capacity bilge pump. The most popular Brand, unsurprisingly, is Rule with the 3800 GPH being the pump of choice. The Rule 1500 GPH came in second. One reader installed Scot 50-GPM (minute) pump running off a 12V Lesson motor. Another installed a Barracuda 1 1/2 hp AC 48 gal/minute pump with a 1 1/2” outlet with fire hose attached. This pump has a massive 25 ft head or distance it can lift water.
