Have you set up a home office on your boat so you can work remotely?

 

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on acquiring a new cruising boat in the next year. Of those who answered 28% say they are in the market. Chosen boat are: 60% monohulls, 25% catamarans, 23% powerboats and 7% trimarans. (Readers could check multiply choices). 62% are looking in the 30 to 40 foot range,  22%  in the 40 to 50 foot range,  9% in the 20 to 30 foot range and 7% in the over 50-foot range.  For sailing style, 74% for coastal cruising, 52% for longer range cruising,  48% for daysailing, 8% for passagemaking and 5% for full-time living aboard.  For new or brokerage, 65% said brokerage only, 22% said new only and 13% said both.
