Do you use a marina and/or haul-out and storage facility operated by Safe Harbor?
Many thanks to all readers who responded to the last survey on delivery skippers. Only 17% of those who answered have used a delivery skipper. Of those, 45% found the skipper through their dealer or broker, while 28% hired a person they knew 22% found the person by word of mouth and 5% had friends do the delivery.
Those who have hired a skipper say the going rate for a skipper and one crew is between $800 and $1000 a day.
