What are the inter-tropical convergance zones?

Send your answers to george@bwsailing.com. A winner will be selected randomly from the correct answers.

Many thanks to everyone who replied to last week’s question on the pointer stars to Polaris. The winner this week is Ed Bushman, sv Vela who emailed: “The two stars at the outer edge of the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) point to the north star (Polaris).  A straight line from these stars extend about 5x the distance to find Polaris.”
