Want to crew in the Spring 2015 Salty Dawg Rally?

By Administrator · On March 25, 2015

Dawgs-at-Hog-Heaven

Participating boats in the Spring 2015 Salty Dawg Rally north from the Caribbean are looking for sailors of all experience levels to come along as crew. All you need to do is read the disclaimer, fill out the form and attach a sailing resume or a few paragraphs describing your offshore sailing and boat ownership experience. Feel free to include any additional information that you think would make you an asset on a passage and Salty Dawg Rally organizers will forward your information on to boats looking for crew.

After another excellent (and snow free) winter season in warmer waters The Dawgs are preparing to head North.  The 2015 Spring Salty Dawg Rally is scheduled to depart from the BVI on May 16 (weather dependent) to various ports on the US East Coast.  The Salty Dawg Rally is a non-profit organization, which emphasizes fun, safety and building lasting friendships.  It is a great way to meet other cruisers, and to sail offshore in company.

The Rally includes extensive planning and information prior to departure. Daily briefings by weather router and forecaster Chris Parker are provided to all participants, both before departure and offshore. And the many seasoned sailors who participate in the Rally offer a great resource to other Salty Dawgs.  Joining SDR as a member entitles you to many additional benefits.

Register for the 2015 Spring Rally here.  Not currently a boat owner?  Want to gain more offshore experience or just join in the fun?  Sign up to crew for the Rally!
