Foods That Can Help to Prevent Seasickness

By George Day · On May 3, 2018

The first sail of the summer, or the first day offshore, is usually when those of us prone to seasickness turn green and find our way to the lee rail. Over the years we have learned that you should take your medicine, in our case Stugeron, at least an hour before setting off to sea so it has time to get into your system. For a lot of us, the foods we eat will have a big impact on how we feel and can even take the place of medicine that can make you drowsy or even disoriented. So here are some simple foods that can help you ward off seasickness and enjoy sailing more than ever from the folks at livestrong.com.
